The Power Of Truth

The word “Truth” in the Bible and its usages are obviously associated with the
Word of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Truth is powerful and no man can conquer the truth, not even the father of lies. Outside
Truth, human race will live totally in darkness and no man could live a pleasing life before God Almighty.
The presence of truth not only gives delight to the just but also brings shame to liars.
Truth is always truth and it never changes. Truth is a must-have treasure of a man. In I Timothy 2:4, it is written, Who
will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (KJV) This verse from the Bible tells us that
God wants people to be saved and to become knowledgeable of the truth.
Truth must be loved and not to be hated. He who loves the truth loves the Lord Jesus Christ
and he who despises the truth will be condemned. In II Thessalonians 2:10-12, it is written, And with all deceivableness
of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for
this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed
not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (KJV) What a dreadful warning!
The Bible contains numerous warnings and these warnings, if strictly observed, will surely save us from
unpleasant troubles of life. The devil wants people to become his prey, and he is doing his best to trap men by his deceitful
offers, but through applying the Word of God, we could overcome him valiantly and enjoy the power of truth.

Truth is what the world needs today. Christians are in the right position to tell the truth
and significantly display its power, but if they will not proclaim the truth, lost souls will die and go to hell without hearing
the Gospel. Truth is a God-given treasure to be enjoyed and to be shared to the world so that unsaved souls will be enlightened
and come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
